FoodWise is an environmental campaign that aims reduce the 3 million tonnes of food that Australians waste every year.
The FoodWise campaign site is managed by Do Something! - a not-for-profit organisation that aims to combine the resources of the business community with the goodwill of the general public.
This campaign aims to encourage "FoodWise" habits - getting people to improve their planning, purchasing, portion control, cooking, storing, freezing and composting of food. It also campaigns to minimise the amount of food that is thrown out by restaurants and the manufacturers, retailers and distributors of food.
Gruden designed and developed the FoodWise website.
Working within a strict budget, Gruden used the Sitecore CMS's flexible features to develop a technical framework that allowed the creative team to deliver a visually engaging campaign site.
Sitecore provides multi-site support allowing organisations to manage an array of websites while seeking a single management platform for content.
This framework has allowed Gruden to build a series of campaign websites for DoSomething that all sit on the same platform, making it easy for these websites to be kept up to date.
